Kelly Clark was born in 1966, and attended Creativity Explored from 1998 through 2008.
Clark produces exclusively figurative images in acrylic, watercolor, and ink. From rhinestone studded wooden Buddhas, to graphite drawings of Buddhist temples, eastern religious imagery is a primary focus in Clark’s art. Her paintings are colorful and exact, with each plane of a figure carefully delineated. She focuses on works of personal interest and beauty, co-mingling the everyday with the sublime.
Clark is both a writer and an artist. Her writing and poetry often explore her feelings and experiences as well as her love of nature. Clark is attending classes at City College and her poetry has been published in their journal.
